JustLuxe: A New, Unique Island Community: Yerba Buena Island, San Francisco
JustLuxe previewed The Bristol, the first Yerba Buena Island homes to come to market. Sales launched in February for residences at The Bristol, the first residential building to go up on Yerba Buena Island in San Francisco Bay. Developed by Wilson Meany, with design by Hart Howerton, Edmonds + Lee Architects, and Meyer Davis, these homes range in size from intimate studios to epic multi-level townhomes, all centered around a landscaped, open-air courtyard and surrounded by 72 acres of parks and green space. Residents of these new construction homes will have sweeping San Francisco Bay views that include the Downtown skyline, the Bay Bridge, and nearby Clipper Cove, which is perfect for catching some rays and launching kayaks onto the Bay.

SF Gate: Three-bedroom condos selling for $3 million in new Yerba Buena Island Development
Developer Wilson Meany released prices for the new construction homes at The Bristol on scenic Yerba Buena Island, with studios on the island in the middle of San Francisco Bay starting at $800K and three-bedroom residences at $3 million. When complete, residents of these luxury condos will have access to the building’s suite of health, wellness, and recreation amenities, including a rooftop deck, children’s room, and fitness center, all arranged around a central landscaped courtyard. Beyond the building’s walls, residents of all Yerba Buena Island homes will enjoy 72 acres of parks and green space, all with the same panoramic San Francisco and Bay Bridge views as are available from their abodes.

Forbes Magazine: First renderings of San Fancisco's Yerba Buena Island housing complex released.
Forbes reported on the first renderings that developer Wilson Meany released, showing their plans for the forthcoming development on San Francisco Bay’s Yerba Buena Island. Plans called for preserving the majority of the naturally formed island’s landmass as permanent open space, which will include five miles of trails that residents and visitors can use to explore the verdant island. The residential buildings at the Yerba Buena Island homes are being designed by Hart Howerton and will be nestled between natural rock formations, allowing them to blend in with the island’s topography while revealing panoramic San Francisco Bay and Downtown skyline views from the spacious residences.

Curbed: Walter Hood, Macarthur 'Genius' Grant Winner, to design new Yerba Buena Island Park.
The new collection of luxury homes on Yerba Buena Island will be centered around a new park from 2019 MacArthur Genius Grant recipient Walter Hood. Hilltop Park will feature 360-degree views from the middle of San Francisco Bay and highlight twin vantage points that focus on the island’s ecological and cultural histories. The park is being built in concert with development of the Yerba Buena Island homes, whose residents will have easy access to the park as part of the 72 acres of green space that will be preserved in perpetuity on the island. San Francisco Bay Area residents not living on Yerba Buena Island will have access to the park via a short ferry ride from Downtown San Francisco.

Architectural Digest reported on crews breaking ground for luxury condominiums and townhomes on Yerba Buena Island back in 2019, highlighting the renowned design team behind these residences.
